Entitle and Permits secured preliminary parcel map approval for the conversion of an existing Los Angeles duplex into two condominiums. We are now nearing final map recordation and obtaining the change of use from duplex to condominiums.
Condominium Conversion Entitlement
The project required review under the City’s condominium conversion and subdivision procedures. Our work spans the land use entitlement and the subsequent processing needed to move the approved conversion toward completion.
In January 2026, the City’s Advisory Agency approved the preliminary parcel map for two condominium units, subject to conditions of approval. The City also determined that the project qualified for a Class 1 Existing Facilities exemption under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Final Map and Change of Use Processing
Following that approval, our work has focused on advancing the final map and condominium conversion requirements. These include coordinating agency clearances, addressing approval conditions and working through the building and zoning requirements associated with the conversion.
The project is approaching its final milestones: recording the parcel map and obtaining the change of use. These steps will carry the project from its approved subdivision framework toward completion of the duplex-to-condominium conversion.
