Entitle and Permits handled the land use entitlement and all permit processing through Ready to Issue (RTI) for a 293-unit affordable housing development in Los Angeles.
ED1 Entitlement Approval
The five-story project proceeded through the City’s Executive Directive 1 (ED1) program. Its Planning approval included density bonus provisions, increased floor area, reduced setbacks and an open-space waiver.
Los Angeles City Planning issued the project’s Letter of Compliance in August 2024, approving 293 residences, including 292 income-restricted units and one manager’s unit.
Permit Processing Through Ready to Issue
Our role carried through both the entitlement and building permit phases. We managed applications, coordinated with City agencies and the development team, and addressed approval conditions and permitting requirements to bring the project to RTI.
From securing the land use approval to completing permit processing, this project reflects our experience guiding large affordable housing developments through the Los Angeles approval process.
